Why do naturally beautiful girls wear make-up?

exactlly! people always tell me im pretty and stuff so i wear makeup so i look prettier and i look 6 wearing no makeup since im short and EXTRIMLY skinny

Everyone has their reasons. Maybe their insecure, or don’t like what they look like without makeup. Maybe they think they look better with makeup. Maybe their doing it to enhance their beauty, as others have said.

To me makeup is an art. Yes of course I have a few flaws that I like to cover and conceal. But as for eyes. Its like a canvas for me. I love putting color on my eyes and doing different styles and just because a woman is pretty or beautiful doesnt mean she shouldn’t wear makeup. Makeup only enhances your natural beauty; if its not overdone that is. Women wear their makeup for different reasons and its not always for insecurities.

i have a friend who is beautiful and she doesnt need to wear make up.and i dont think she does.and shes alwas pretty looking

Idk sometimes makeup is pretty and makes a a girl more attractive but I really wish girls would go without makeup sometimes cuz that’s just as beautiful

Some times they dont have confadence in there selfs. Or they just enjoy it!

because tot hem they might not feel naturally pretty and feel make-up a way to feel secure in themselves

actually they are beautiful but not gorgeous.so to make herself gorgeous they wear make up

That’s be makeup doesn’t even add that much plus most girls put in too much and that just isn’t attractive

i agree when girls put too much it looks stupid but they are usually the insecure people or they think guys will like them better caked up in tons of makeup

Like eye shadow is usually way over done some girls can pull it off but on others it looks really weird. If you are wearing makeup that stands up its not attractive of you are wearing makeup to that causes parts of you to really pop then it can be pretty

I agree with what everyone says here. That girls either don’t feel good enough without, don’t feel confident without, or to enhance beauty. However, I want to add that I think regardless of the reason for wearing make-up, somewhere is the need, or the striving to be perfect in appearance that seems to be the basis of our society now a days.

personally, eyeliner and eye-shadow are the only “make-up I wear, when I even wear it that is. Anything else, is just for people to conceal flaws. It bugs me when gorgeous girls feel the need to completely plaster their faces with foundation and powder to the point their face looks entirely… fake. I mean, the whole “art” thing, I agree for the eyes, but the rest of it? Well, I see it more of as the art for hiding every tiny, insignificant flaw to look perfect.
