Why do my nails always flake and peel back?

Answer #1

lack of moisturizer…try some almond oil & rub it into your cuticles! do that once a day & try to use a hand cream every time you wash your hands because water damages the keratin to your nails. now if you are working with your hands like using cleaning material, washing dishes, or using any chemicals with your hands, what you are doing is causing your fingernails a lot of damage making them flaky/brittle & very breakable.

my best advice to you is to also check your diet…are you getting enough calcium…if you have http://funadvice.com/r/3kch6pikfd this on your nails then you know you have an issue with lack of calcium…if your nails look like this…http://funadvice.com/r/3kch6pikkg you may have issues with calcium…try to add more diary products & perhaps some calcium vitamins but consult with a doctor before hand…just to be on the safe side!

if you want to read a little more about your problem…here i found this site on google…it’s worth the read…http://funadvice.com/r/3kch6pikoo

hope this helped…good luck!

You probably have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. Try a folic acid supplement. It is cheap and works brilliantly to promote strong nails. Also eating overall healthily will help as well.
