Acrylic nails ruin nails?

Having acrylic nails prevents your nails from getting oxygen and from natural oils conditioning them, also the filing and buffing before the nails are applied thins them, it takes a good 2-3 months, depending on how fast they grow to get them back to normal. If you rub mineral oil on them before you go to bed at night, it helps.

I get mine done frequently and it does weaken your nails.

Noticed on mine if I leave them on for ages, my natural nails has a yellow taint to it but once I dont wear acrylic nails for a month the appearance is back to normal.

Its an endless battle growing mine naturally :-(

normally when you have acrylic then ruin your nails my mum has them done all the time and says that she cant stop having them done because she doesnt want anyone to see how bad theyx if I was you I would stop having them done for a bit and just paint them and file them until they are nice againx
