Why are my periods so random?

I have the same problem, so I went to my doctor and she said its totally normal being a teen and all but if it hasn’t normalised by the time your 18 you should get it checked out.

Seriously periods just are messed up! As long as you don’t have any severe pain (i.e. you can’t actually move due to pain) or you don’t faint due to very heavy blood loss then there is not much to worry about. Stress and also being underweight can be causes of irregular periods but it’s really nothing to worry about! Trust me my periods are exactly the same I have missed for 5 months then 2 months then I had my period for my normal 6 days then after a week I had another REALLY heavy 6 days. It’s completely crazy but that is just periods for ya! Also there seems to be no hope for the future either-my sis-in-law still has irregular periods at the age of 25! =( Hope this helped hun! I have the same situation too,, but mines sometimes comes every 6-4 months.. but yeah I think it is normal…

birt control can mess it up and it is normal for a teen
