My mum doesnt know :s haha

Hey all,

I’ve got a ‘little’ problem. In january, I had my navel pierced. Its not infected or anything. Problem is, my mum and dad are fiercly against the idea of a belly buttom piercing , and they don’t know I’ve had it done. My aunty and female cousin both know because I trust them, and they haven’t told my mum and dad. I’m going away on holiday at the weekend and I’m going to be getting my stomach out. What should I do? Tell them, face the consiquences and possibly get nothing for my birthday (which is next week), or keep it to myself and just not go swimming ?

Please help, I’ve kept this a secret for months Xx

I’m going the exact same, but mines with my septum. What they dont know wont hurt them. Why dont you wear one of them tank swimsuits, the two peice but the tops that cover your belly button? hope it’s all good.

Okay one, It’s never good to lye to anyone… and they are you parents if you’re turning 16 and they said you could when you turn 16, why don’t you just explain to them that you like the way it looks and that it’s your body not theirs. They may be mad, but they’ll get over it! What’s the worst they can do, ground you? or make you take it out?

I just feel a bit funny about it though, I’m 15 and they said when you’re sixteen you can do what you like. I don’t wish id waited though

I have the same exact problem, but I pierced my lip, I’ve kept my lip hidden for over a month and I plan to keep it that way
