Problem with annoying mum that might know something

Well I’ve never had a proper girlfriend or had the guts to ask someone out. But the other day my nan asked me if I had a girlfriend and I didnt really say much then my mum asked if any girls “chat me up” at school which made me laugh. So after her asking a heap of slightly personal questions she said that she has “connections” with people at my school and claims that she knows some girls that like me but the only thing holding them back from asking me out is that they try to “chat me up” but I dont really talk much back. Which made me try to guess who they were which put names into my mums head on girls I talk to .

I also think my mum might be lieing to mess with my head or get some more info out of me because I never talk to her about girls at school.

So yeah what do you think I should do?

Sounds like she’s simply trying to get you to come out of your shell - she wants you to be happy / looking after your best interests.

hmm I don’t think a mum would cruel to put ideas in your head about girls, maybe ask her if she was just joking to hear your answer, if not.. try noticing the girls who chat you up.. hahaa
