How can I get some muscle and loose the belly?

I can barely do a single push up or curl up. I want a flat stomach and some abs. I also need to work with my arm muslces because I’m on a swim team and It’s hard for me to do four laps without stopping. I’m 13, 5’5, and I weight 112 lbs. Also, (and here’s the embarrsing part) I have 30% body fat, which I’m rather ashamed about. Please help me!

Theres no ultimate secret to losing weight and toning up. It takes hard work, healthy eating, and regular excercise. Try things more fun, yoga, tai chi, swimming, jogging, pilates, also people who have a wor out buddy are more likely to suceed in their goals.

If you can’t do pushups then try knee pushups (knees on the ground) until you can. For pull-ups a lot of gyms of pull-up bars with counterweights to make it easier until you can do pull-ups without assistance. Push ups and pull-ups will work the arms, but simply swimming a lot will do it too. For abs do situps. For a flat stomach any exercise and healthy food will do it; doesn’t matter which section you exercise. Swimming or running for example could do it.
