how can i get my mom to stop stealing?

she knows my whole family social security and she has been taking money from my family. every time i talk to her she yells at me and im underage but my either family knows she steals but they haven’t lock her up because of my sake but i just want her to become better

How about writing her a letter….tell her every emotion you have evry single feeling tbat your feeling and how her actions and affecting your future. All you can do is be honest and offer her help, she has a problem and its a diisease, its not a short and easy road to get past this but she can with help. Let her know that your there and you want her to be healthy and a good influenece in your life.

you can’t…this isn’t your responsibility to stop her. Speak with a trusted adult and with this adult put together some resources such as hot lines, counselling, clinics that can help her deal with this issue. Have this adult speak with your mother and give her the resources. By no means should you be speaking with her about this. Good luck, Sue

You cannot help her. She is what she is. Until she has to face the concequences for her actions she will not stop. Even then she may continue.
