Companies today need employees that can solve problems and algebra prepares your brain to solve those problems. Actually your exercising the problem solving part of your brain. The more exercise you get the better your problem solving skills become and you are more likely to be hired. Agreed, you will probably never use algebra again in your life. Most people don’t. Problem solvers are what today’s employers are looking for. Not just workers.
