Usually it takes a lot to make someone cry. Even if it’s like on tear, it’s the moment when you broke through their defenses and shattered them for a brief moment.

That tear represents their defeat by whatever it was that dealt such a heavy blow to them. All of their weaknesses, their problems, their faults, are all in there. Looking at that just makes them stronger and braver for the next time that thing comes around and tries to hurt them.

That’s what I think.

I do it to see if any makeup came off so I know to fix it and not just leave smeared makeup all over my face.
