How to loose my flabby tummy?

since I left school I have put on about 5st and I hadn't really watched my weight untill recently when I finally gd some working scales. I used to be a fitness freak and as really in shape untill I got depression in collage. I can't belive the amount of weight I've put on I have lost a bit but bu stomach is stating to sag and I'm only 20 if I can do something about it now then I can get my healthy body back. It's putting a strain on my life and asthma I'm also a performing art student and need to be fit this is holding me back. If anyone know of good exercise or anything like that please help xx
