How long can you store freshly squeezed lemon juice in the fridge?
I’d like to make some for my tea, but I know I won’t be able to use it all right away. So I was wondering how long I can store it in the fridge before I have to dump it? If anyone can tell me, I’d appreciate it!
2-3 days… after that, it will begin to lose its flavor.
After about three days in the fridge the flavour starts to change. What I do is I freeze it in ice cube trays, so you can just defrost small amounts as required. Another option is to buy lemon juice - it has preservatives in it so it lasts longer.
Yeah it can last a LOT longer when frozen. Who else’s mouth watered at the sour-ness when reading this? :L
