That really depends on you and the friend. Some friendships will last a lifetime, other won’t. As people grow older their interests and opinions often change and they grew apart from their school friends and will make new friends. There are a few special friendship that last a lifetime, they are truly precious.

I had the same best friend from kindergarten all the way until we finished high school. We still keep in contact now, it’s just harder because we’re in different cities, so really I don’t think it’s that hard to make one last a long time.

depends on the friendship and all and whether they dont get annoyed with you easily. my closest relationship with my best friend is been about 6 yrs. we instantly became close once we met, she has helped me thru a ton and vis versa. so id it all depends on the type of friendship is how long it will last

A friendship can last forever, it all depends on how this friends go along the path and what happens. Friends come and go you know. Things in common also help the friendship go longer, I don’t think that there is an acchual time that friendship lasts it’s just finding it oug along the way.

well on average its one to five years. but if your really good friends and if you get along really well and dont “grow apart” it can last your whole life. well as long as u dont lose touch with them or something :)
