How long does a relationship last on average

Between two 16-year-olds, the girlfriend having had 5 boyfriends and a girlfriend in the past (longest relationship being over a month and she’s only broken up with two of these people) and the boyfriend having 1 girlfriend in the past (a relationship that had strong ties and lasted a year and a half, ended because of fighting)?

Also, if the boy is best friends with his ex, might he go back to her? This is not my own relationship, I’m just curious.

There is no way to tell how long the relationship will last, the two are just going to have to see what happens. If the boy is best friends with his ex, he may go back to her or he may not. It’s up to him to decide what he wants. It doesn’t matter who the girl has dated and how many people she’s been with and how long her longest relationship has been. It depends on the two individuals. If they end up liking each other a lot, then maybe their relationship will last a long time. If not, then they may not make it for very long… It all depends.

“girlfriend having had 5 boyfriends and a girlfriend” at 16 it aint looking good…I would say this person is insecure,has problems respecting thereselves and has issues regarding being loved or wanted.Also a false sence of reality and needs a good talking to…an proberbly a hug.

She’s one of “those” people, she believes she has every single mental illness under the sun and she’s spoiled sick. If anything, she wants something MORE than a hug, and she’s already gotten it from all of her exes. She won’t be getting it from this guy, though, as he’s trying to take it slow but she’s rushing it. She even said, “He saved me from killing myself… He’s the best guy I could ask for!” but she said that about her last two exes as well.
