Living With Dad

I’m 13 and I want to go live with my dad. My mom has prime custody of me, and I don’t know how to tell her. My mom is a…headstrong woman, and she yells a lot and everything…aren’t I old enough to voice my opinion on who I want to live with? Please help!

Kat, Maybe you are as headstrong as your mother. I would bet she has your best interest at heart. She loves you very much. Sometimes we love our parents but don’t really know everything about them. Maybe your mom knows things about your dad that would not be healthy for a 13 year old girl to live with him. You may think it is fun and your dad lets you do whatever you want, but in the end you will regret your decision when you are older. There are some things that can’t be redone.

just tell her how ya feel and also maybe theres a reason ya mum has prime custody mayb your dad isnt the best choice :] hope I helped
