How do I know If my lip rings are BCRs or Unscrew-able?

I have snakebites and I need to switch the rings to studs but I’ve never taken them out before and am QUITE unsure how to do it.. Especially since I couldn’t really see what the lady was doing while trying not to focus on pain D:

Ohh. Well if it’s possible ask the lady that put them on for you, or the people that provided that service. I would ask someone to carefully look at them, and very slightly try to nudge or rotate them.

There are dimples on the side of the ball that allows the ball to basically snap into the gap between the ends of BCR. So you should be able to just pop the ball out….With the un-screwable ones they will not be connected or at least they shouldn’t mine never were but yours maybe different….Anyway just twist the ball and try to push it out and if it doesnt work than try twisting it for a while….It’s going to hurt being the first time there being removed, so just be patient….Hope I Helped and Good Luck!

Just go to your local piercer, they will sort you out free of charge.

I have snake bites too ^__^ mine are Captive ball(CBR) Its nearly a complete circle with a ball in the middle. Just one. If so that is CBR. it snaps in and out. The external screw has a hole in the ball and if it has 2 balls that unscrew it is a “circular threaded barbell” that is the technical term. So if there is 2 balls they unscrew. If there is one its captive. <33
