How do you take out your lip ring(the ball of the stud)?

I have a lip ring and its a stud, but I need to go to school and they have a real strict policy about any piercings on your body, so I want to take my lip ring off but I dont know how to take the ball off and by the way I have studs not hoops.

have you tried un-screwing it?

yeh bummers right, try unscrewing it, but if you’ve had it for a short period of time try to put on a clear retainer one, at my old private school they had a reallyyy reallyyy strict policy on makeup hair and piercing and all physical appearences and such and I got my tongue pierced and I talked to them about how much it cost me and how my parents approved of it and bla bla bla and they let me keep it… try unscrewing it and putting a clear one on.

you shouldnt have bothered to get it done if you cant keep it in you need to leave it in for 3 months so it can heal before taking it out if you havent done this, you shouldnt have got it done a stud goes in your ear, the jewelrey that goes in your lip is called a labret you unscrew the ball on the top

well at my school they make you either take it off or snip off the end of a band aid (the skin coloured ones) and put the over any visable piercings
