Is there a "like" limit for questions?

I was trying to like the answers for my previous question and it’s not letting me. Are we only allowed to like a certain number of answers per day/question/hour or something?

Nope, probably just some sort of error with the site.

Yes, you can only like 3 different answers to a question. Did the site give you an actual error, OR did it just do nothing when you tried?

If it’s not to much of a bother, can I know why we can only like 3? Just curious really, don’t need to tell me :)

Same limit we had in the old system, and to prevent abuse :) We did try “one” at one point, but we had tons of complaints…in theory, you should be only liking the very best answers…not all of them. The idea is that the system should help improve answer quality.

It didn’t give me anything, I didn’t realize until I had come back that it wasn’t liked, I tried again and it failed again. Ah well, I can understand your reasons. I was liking all the ones that answered my question and looked like there had been some effort. I generally ignore short, or rude answers.
