Answer #8

you can try putting aloe gel if you have any, or put the burned area under running cold water for 10 minutes.

Answer #9

I have to warn against this advice - putting ointment and a bandaid on a burn will trap the heat in, causing more damage. You need to keep a cold cloth or ice pack on it until the burning stops - then you can use the ointment.

Answer #10

My grandma once told me to put the burn area under cold running water than apply butter for the burning pain.. never cover it up unless skin has been removed..Then you can apply burn cream and bandage to keep down infections. I have 3 boys and this remedy works on them…Good Luck

Answer #11

if you burn your finger, grab your earlobe..

Answer #12

pain doesn’t actually exists its all in your head if you think it hurts it will. But since its hard to control pain i would suggest running it under cold water and putting a hello kitty band-aid on it! :)

Answer #13

EITHER RUN IT DOWN ON COLD WATER R APPLY ALOE VERA ON THE BURN AREA

Answer #14

If something doesnt exist because its all in your head then a lot of things do not exist. Your emotions and reasoning would not exist. The things you see and hear and feel would not exist, because guess what - they are all processed in your head the way pain is. Pain is a real, physical sensation from physical stimuli causing electrical signals to be sent to your brain. If you could just turn it off by not thinking about it then what would be the point of it?

Answer #15

Cold water, paracetamol and I use topical water based anti-inflammatory gel.
