I can’t make heads or tails of this whole movement yet… Being that it came out of nowhere and has a large pool of capital to lobby congress with… and that it was immediately met with another executive decision to make peace through war… eg… Obama sending the troops into Uganda… and the fact that it has become some overwhelming zeitgeist in a week’s time… It makes me reckon on whether or not there is an ulterior agenda behind it all.

Could it be a distraction from the Occupy Wall Street movement? At least on FunAdvice there is a disproportionate amount of college age support.

Could it be some sort of rally cry for the war-making philantrhopists to redouble behind the President?

One thing is becoming clear. The progressive left are eager to wage battle with the neocons to see who rightfully deserves the wings for the most hawkish political entity on the scene.
