is this true 15-20 reps to get ripped and burn fat?

15-20 reps to get ripped and burn fat (bicep curls) 6-8 reps to get your muscles bigger (bicep curls) moderate reps to build and maintain muscles 10-12 reps (biceps curls)

Answer #1

yes, a few heavy lifts will build the size of the muscle repeted little ones just tone and strenghten

Answer #2

It also depends on the amount of weight you are lifting each time, not just the reps. I was always told to do 3 sets of 15 reps. But I’m a girl, so I don’t know what other advice I can give. When you can do 3 sets easily, move onto a higher weight. When you get used to the heavier weight, move up again. Don’t leave it too many days in between working out, as you need to keep the muscle ripped and developing by not letting it go back to its original state.

Answer #3

More reps or reps to failure, will not burn fat, just give you more definition. The number of reps is not everything… it’s the amount of the weight too, but you have to go to failure each time to gain muscle.
