Fat burning

When working out, after 20 minutes you hit the zone where you start burning fat. From that point on in the workout, how much of the calories that you burn are actually fat calories? Approximate percentages would be appreciated. :)

When I got really heavy, the personal trainer I had said to work out at 55- 65 % of your max heartrate. On avg he said max hrt rate is around 220 - your age. The fat burning process is a game of patience since 55-65 % seems like you are doing nothing. BUT if you are above 65% you are getting close to switching over to burning mainly stored blood sugar or carbs in your body which is NOT your goal. Keep it slow since there are no real shortcuts here.

You are asking all the right questions since most people go real hard and all out starting out. Then can’t figure out which they are not loosing the bulges. Thats the mistake I made before my trainer helped me with the right info.
