I’m sure there is still parts that there are problems and some war-type activity going on, but there are not “big” wars going on in that area at this time that they have talked about.

I’m not sure. I don’t want to scare you or anything but yeah, terrorist have been know to attack things relating to oil but on the bright side, I think they are not doing it like they did. Your dad will be okay!

im sure theres a lot of fighting there because of the clashing of the various cultures but not any declared warfare but dont worry…your dad will be fine if its anyone they want to take care of over there its men and oil workers

Your dad is probably safe as long as he is working legally for a bona fide company, and prefably in an area where there is not much conflict.

Iran is a big, sprawling country, and although there are conflicts, there are also beautiful mountains and great scenery… and peaceful places.

If you want to know more, find out exactly where he is working, and do a google search - for example ‘place’- plus ‘conflict’.

Not aware of a current war but certainly an area where the possibility exists.
