"but you don't understand my sister would completely pester me if I was something else"
uhm yes this would be the part of christianity that makes it everyone's responsibility to make sure you dont end up in hell!
how old are you? if you're still supported by your family, well you could tell them, or you could simple humor them... and if you're not, do what you want... and tell them to back off, you respect their choices and expect them to respect yours
Statistics show that religious conversion is predominantly a social thing - people who are uncommitted tend to commit when they see their friends or family commit.
You can do the same thing if it suits your social needs - keeping in mind that you don't really have to believe the dogma, you just have to pretend you do.
Alternately, you can learn to be comfortable being you.
I agree. I know many people that have switched faiths a few times. my friend was catholic and became buddist, it is a very warm, welcoming religion. you shood reasearch it, or you dont even have to have a religion at this time. =] take your time, youll be fine
Personally I believe any religiopn needs to be YOUR choice. My advice dont be a christain for the sake of your family if you choose to be christian do it on your own terms
dont belive things you dont belive in yourself
