I want to install a new anti virus program

I want to install a new anti virus program, but then I cant completely install the new one, because my old antivirus software still remains. But I could not find it in add/remove programs.. what should I do to completely delete it? where do I find it, so that I can delete..thanx;-) a lot

What Antivirus are you using now?

Most AV companies have free removal tools. Post what your using and we can get you the correct removal software.
