I think my iPod is broken.

I plugged my iPod into my friends computer and she has an iPod also. My iPod keeps restarting now. Whats wrong with it? Can I fix it? And how can I fix it?

that happened to my sisters and sadlyy it broke for good. we tried charging it then restarting it, we tried plugging it in a computer and opening itunes and try puttin music in we left it alone for a couple of days and tried to do all of what we did before again but nuttin worked… you can try those things I just listed hope it works again

First make sure that it is charged. you will need some sort of charger that connects to an outlet. if you use a laptop, it will not charge. if that doesn’t fix the problem, try it with your computer. if it stays on while in your computer, then your in luck. if not, click the link in the sources. click on disk mode. look at the 5th generation pattern. reset the ipod. as soon as you do that push and hold the disk mode buttons until a check appears.then plug it in to your computer. install an ipod upgrader from the second link. open it up with your ipod plugged in. click restore and follow the instructions. if that doesn’t fix the ipod, then return it for a new one.
