I lied to my friends...but I'm not sure if it was an ok lie?
I told my friends a lie and I don’t know how to tell them the truth. I told them that I satyed at my dads this weekend when I didn’t. It’s killing me that I lied to them. I told them I stayed at my dad’s because I wanted them to think I still kept in touch with my dad. I wanted them to think “Hey katie has a dad that she talks to thats cool” and so they don’t wonder why I never mention him. My dad is in jail and I don’t want to tell my friends that. But I feel bad that I lied to them…should I just forget about it because it is in the past? I just wanted them to think I had a Dad that I tlaked to and everythign
Use your best judgement but it would be right to tell them - you would want them to be able to tell you anything and it wouldn’t change your friendship - you could keep quiet and it passes but it might pop out some other way down the road - I’m going by my faith I guess, but I feel so much better when I confess, make it right, immediately…Take care !!

I understand why you lied to them - but if they are your friends, they won’t care if you dad is in jail. You should be honest with them, if they are real friends they will offer their support and help you through the hard times. You shouldn’t have to be lieing to them and holding all these things in. Just be honest, they could really help you out.

say whats are your mind because if they care that you lied they dont matter if they are your true friends the wont care that you lied and so they matter.. if they mind they dont matter if matter they dont mind!!!
