Can I move out at 14 if I have a job?

Me and my fam always fight and I swear next time the thing my mother married gets drunk and threatens my life im gunna kill him. But my girlfriend’s fam has said when her dad moves out and they have a free room I can move in. Ihave a job that can pay for food and a percent of living exspenses but im only 14 almost 15 in june 2008. so I have a pace to ggo and money for the costs just is there anything I have to do in paperwork for me to move??? so yeah can I get some help please

If your life is at risk living at home now you should seek a social worker. Alcohol has a big effect on some people and most of the time they don’t know what their doing. Get in contact with social services or a helpline, they’ll give the best advice and help sort out your mothers husband. Until then you could stay at your girlfriend’s house but not permantnently. At 14 your still in custody of your parents and should stay at home, but if your life is at risk you can stay in a family or friends house. But still contact social services. You can’t just run away from a problem. You must sort it out. Good luck x
