Moving out legally at 14

Are there any ways for a 14year old could move out legaly in california.

Answer #1

If you were emancipated - which would be a long process and you’d need a lot of logical reasons and evidence that you aren’t safe in your household.

Answer #2

I really dont think so if theres problems at home and you can prove it and that youre responsible enough to live on your own you might be able to get emancipated

Answer #3

there’s this thing called emansipation, I don’t know if I spelt that right, but it this thing you can applie for in the courts and stuff. I think you need parent cooperation, but it differs for every sitution. The reqiurements are: (obviously) being able to care for yourself, having a job, “a reason” meaning something like bad parents. other than that, the only other way is for your parents to let you move in with a friend.

Answer #4

maybe you can move in with another family member in the same state but not sure about there
