I'd give my arm to get rid of this toothache.. someone please helpp

okay, so I’ve got this suicidal toothache that wont go away. I’ve had it for about a week. I know this will be really long, but I really need SOMEBODYS help. thanks so much…

okay, sooo..

a few months ago, (four or five maybe?) I found out I needed a root canal. my tooth broke like 6 months ago. no big deal. about a week ago my teeth on the top left side of my mouth (tooth that broke(also root canal is going to happen to that tooth)) started hurting.

I dont mean a minor toothache either. I mean, pain from hell! it wont stop either. I’ve tried, all kinds of tooth numbing gel, all kinds of pain killers. does anybody know whats going on?

its not only hurting that one tooth, its all my gums on the top left side of my mouth by that tooth, and the four surrounding teeth. I really need to find out whats wrong. im scheduled for a dentist NEXT MONTH! I dont think I can handle this pain any longer..

btw, its been nonstop for a week now. .thanks for your help.

I really dont no I was going to say go see your dentist!lol you could maybe phone them and tell your dentist its URGENT did I help no??

Answer #2

Most dentists do have emergency appointments for situations like yours. If the ache is that bad then it is most likely and abscess that spread. You can lose teeth that way. So see if you can get an appointment ASAP.

If you really can’t, go to your normal GP to get some anti-biotics prescribed, but the way you are describing it is sounds like normal anti-biotics might not be good enough.

Call and see if they can get you in sooner. The only thing that will help is the dentist.

ah the infamous toothache, makes you think that those of us who have bad teeth (mine arent as bad as they could be, and I have better dental hygeine then most people I know, so bad teeth can happen to people who try to take care of their teeth) try gargling salt water, it’ll pull out any sugar that you have had that day and brush around the particular tooth, also like they said put an aspirin on it, it’ll taste nasty but it works.
