I am going to be in so much trouble

Ok, heres the thing.

I’ve lost a £130 pound check for a school trip!! And my parents are going to kill me because its so much! And on top of that, I’ve just gone and cracked the screen of my new mobile phone! Its not bad, its on the very sides, right hand side is a long vertical one, left hand side two small horizontol ones. But my parents are going to soo kill me!

I’m also not keeping up with my school work :s I have two major projects and I havnt even started them yet. I’ve also lost a letter, which means the schools going to sh*t me. Oh, on top of all that. My jumpers unravelling, I’ve lost my pe kit, make-up, and I have dt on monday and I need to find something to cook thats way easy!

Its not as easy as “just get new ones,”

We’re moving house, and moneys going to be tight.

And I dont have a f* what to do.

the worst thing they can do is make you pay them back, or ground you, end of the day they won’t kill you, I know you must be scared, but why not write a list of the things and hand it to your mom? you can always hide the phone from them easy, when iwas your age and even now my parents never see my phone unless im on it, as for the money, tell them you’ll make it up, do chore, help out, pocket money, or babysit or something to give them back the cash, everybody looses things and remind them it’s not like you’d loose £130 or crack your phone on purpose, impress them, play perfect daughter until they chill out a bit. as for the school side, get the projects done, try harder at school, I know you’ll probably think yeah, right, whatever, but you will miss school one day, and you will wish you could go back to try harder, I know, I miss school! unis not the same, and id go back if I could, some of the best years of been young when you look back one day, and just go to the teacher or reception and explain to them about the letter and could you get another one, that it got misplaced. try not to panic, you seem a bit of a dreamer to be loosing all these things! :), try get organized, write a list every day or week or so of things you have to do, like give the letter to your parents, the food, your gym kit and the money, and homework. good luck, let me know how you get on! erin x

The check situation should be pretty easy to fix. I’m pretty sure a phone call to the bank to stop payment will void the lost check, and then they can write a new one. I am an adult and I just dropped my phone in the toilet last week. I feel your pain. You can buy a used phone cheap on craigslist.org really easily (by you, I mean your parents) As far as the other stuff goes, you’re in the process of moving. I would have lost my limbs if they weren’t attached during my last move. I’m sure your parents will be reasonable if you are upfront. You are a kid, it is not your job to worry about your parents finances. They will figure out what to do, if you just let them.

Answer #3

Make sure they know the check could be stollen that way then someone wont find it and cash it. It better to tell them now then for them to look at their account and see that someone else spent their money its not to late to stop that part!!! They can tell their bank not to accept it!

Answer #4

ok you can say you dropped your phone and someone stepped on it!!! For the money you can pay them back (joke) or you can say someone stole it from you!!! love ya!! butter them up before you tell them tho

Answer #5

just tell them sometimes its not as big of a deal as you think it is
