how to solve 75=3 (-6n - 5) Please help!!

how do you solve it??

Answer #1

oh thank you thank you thank you!!! you rock!

Answer #2

75 = 3(-6n - 5)

first you have to distribute the 3… so

75 = (-18n -15)

than you subtract -15 from 75

90 = (-18n)

than you divide 90 by -18

n = 5

Answer #3

distribute the 3 into both -6n and 5- (ans: -18n -15) [75=-18n -15] subtract the -15 from the 75. which will end up being 90. since two negatives equal a positive. ex:: 75= -18n -15 …+15…+15 …— …90= -18n

then divide the -18 into the 90.

which results in n=-5

hope I helped.

Answer #4

Answer #5
