First, take about 7 or 9 newborn diapers (you need an odd number)
Roll each diaper up starting at the open end, and secure it with a rubber band
Secure all the diapers together, with one in the centre (it should look like a flower from the top) with a large rubber band or ribbon
Place some baby items on top of the diapers to give the cupcake height…the best items for this are little stuffed toys or washcloths
Take a baby towel or small blanket and drape it over the top of the diapers (this will be the “icing”). tuck the ends into the ribbon/elastic to hold it in place
Wrap a small blanket around the sides of the cupcake, and secure it with a colourful ribbon
