How to burn rubber?

I know how to burn in an automatic transmission, but how do you do it in a manual transmission?

Answer #1

As Supra said, just clutching, and yeah you can break something easily, especially if your trying to burn out in an old junker or something along those lines, finely tuned cars have the advantage, of course.

Answer #2

First I wanna warn you that burning out in any vehicle is a potential risk of breaking something. And if you’re on wet pavement it’ll be easier to burn out. But to burn out in a vehicle with a manual transmission you have to push in the clutch, put the car in first gear, while continuing to hold the clutch rev the engine to high RPMs and then quickly release the clutch. Some vehicles may not have enough power to burnout though and as I said earlier you risk breaking something, but good luck.

Get someone to video your attempts. I’m sure there’s going to be some funny moments.
