How much is a new tattoo supposed to burn??

I just got a tattoo today and it burns a lot. It’s on my hip bone. Is that normal?

Im keeping it moist but he didnt say anything about covering it. should I be worriedd??

It does burn but on your hip they hopefully told you to keep it moist with A&D ointment and covered for the first week. I have 7 tats. All are huge. Bur the A&d stuff works great for me

Yes, it is completely normal. Just follow the instructions your tattoo artists gave you and it will be fine.

You have to remember- it is an open wound on your skin.
