How much does it cost to stay at a hotel or motel for a month?

Me and my wife want to stay at a hotel or motel for a mouth but we dont know how much it will coast. Does anyone know how much it will be.

It will definitely be a bit expensive, but don’t be afraid to call around and even ask them if they would give you a discount rate for such a long stay. Also, you should most definitely check out other options like hostel, bed and breakfast and why not renting an all furnished apartment? Depending where you travel sometimes this is available especially in bigger cities. Do a web search (ex: new york apartments short term or vacation rental) or check out community websites like craigslist (ex: craigslist new york)

I think even a cheap hotel would run you at least $80 a night, and that amounts to $2400… a lot of wasted money.

You’d be better off staying at a hostel or bed and breakfast for a month.

Certainly different rates at different hotels…call ahead of time to help you decide and ‘lock-in’.

Short term apartments are the best way to go. I’ve used them in Paris, Venice and Barcelona.

Agree - Renting a furnished apartment will generally be cheaper, also you are normally more comfortable as you have more facilities. That should enable you to cook, too.
