How does faith influence the life changing decisions we make? How does it influence the decisions that we make that are life changing?
Wolfofsolitude I can understand your perspective, but I disagree. Faith is not what destroys the world, its peoples ingrorance to their beliefs and their misguided interpretations. This world is perverted and there are more reasons than their personal beliefs, that cause people to do crazy things. Many times people use their faith as an excuse to do crazy things. As a christian, I believe in love, but there are so-called christians who chose to hate, for example the dark ages. I know that Mulslims believe in peace, but you do have people like osama bin-laden who do everything but promote peace. People destroy eachother, and its easy to place the blame on anything, but what it really comes down to is whatevers in their heart that caused them to act.

It gives people a reason to keep on doing things to improve their lives. Believing in something is what gives us a purpose in life. It doesn't even have to be faith/belief in a higher being, something as simple as believing in your own abilities can influence the decisions that you make.
When someone has a strong Faith In God, And Understand What God Wants Our faith helps us make The best decisions because we are aware of what we are not suppose to do, For example someone who does not have a strong faith and doesnt really know Makes a decision that They think is best, A Real Strong Faith And a Full Understanding will Help anyone make good decisions

You ever heard of the Crusade? Where thousands of people were slaughtered because of their faith. Or the dark ages, where philosophers were killed because it went against faith, and halted humanities advancement for 400 years? You ever done a tour in Iraq and seen what people will do for their faith? Well if you have then you'd realize that faith is what will destroy this world.
Faith is the driving force that brings us to and through uncomfortable situtations to make us stronger and stand as a stronger testiomony to those going through the same thing. It both inspires and convects us to take action, though it requires sacrifice; and in this case, the risk is always worth the gain. God bless :)
It really depends on the person. For example, to the best of my ability I attempt to exclude faith from all important decisions, since I do not consider faith to be valid.
