How do I tell my mother that I want nothing to do with my Stepdad?

It all started whenever my mother divorced my real father and got together with this ex- convict and married him. All was good untill three months after they were married he got influenced into drugs (heavy drugs as in meth and ice). He became abusive and my mother was blinded by her “love” for this man to see what it is doing to us. She kicked him out and brought him back. They have bounced back and forth numerous times. And now he is back in prison. BUT, she is convinced that he changed and she wants me to speak to him… I refuse to and she yells at me and forces me to talk to him.

How do I tell her that I hate him and want nothing to do with him.

(And yes I told her straight up before)

write her a letter telling her what you told us and then if she seems confused she will talk to you you can tell her and she will take your opinion, my dad has girlfriend’s alll the time so I just say I like them and then before I know it theyre gone, but thats why I live w my mom :-)

Answer #2

well I think you should just sit down and talk to her about it. I think shell completely understand. (:

this is serious stuff, and the problem that you face is verry common, My doughter had simular problems with men my ex took up with and is noew in a real mess. it is verry important that you find some one that you can talk to like a counsler, i would sugest that you go to your school counsler and talk to them. Is he in jail for abusing you? There are things in your life that will couse you problems in the future, and if you don’t resolve them you are bouond to do make the same mistakes as you mother. and don’t tell me no becus I have seen it too many times. You need help.
