  It depends on where the peircing is on the ear and your pain threshold I have my lobes peirced and one peircing on the top of my ear (as well as my tounge) personally I have found all my peircings relatively painless but you should really tell your dad getting your ears peirced should be the least of his worries. :)

  just say dad I want my ears peirced and if he says no just say why not whats the problem
