Im white and my boyfriend is black I want to no the best way to tell my grandparents that im marrying a black man, and want them to accpted them. There old fashion. And they said that they will disown any grandchild if they were to do so.
Just explain it to them that times are different now and that different races are accepted and aren't frowned upon as much as it was back in the day.. And explain to them how much both you and your boyfriend love each other and how much you want to be together and how you want to marry him.. But before you tell them the big news, you should probably introduce him to your grandparents first before anything happens and be polite and respectful and understanding..
I am assuming that your parents have accepted your fiance. If so, bring them with you when you tell your grandparents. If they explode and won't accept him then tell them you love them, but you have made your choice.
