How do I start to wear eyeliner without drawing too much attention?

U have 2 choices. you can wear it on the eyelid or inside your eye lid which I do. Inside you can do it light or super dark. you can go to a make up counter such as one in macys or any department store or the mac counter and ask someone to show you exactly how do put on your eyeliner. Some of these places do it for free and dont make you buy something.Its worth it and I did that and I learned quick and never had to purchase a thing! you can tell them you want it done in a suttle way and then see urself in a dramatic way too. Its fun and ull enjoy it.

well why don’t you wear an eyeliner thats not black. Try starting off by wearing a brown and just on the top lash line…then when you feel more comfortable switch to black and you can experiment wearing it on the bottom lash line then as well.

Mary-Kate and Ashley makes a great eyeliner and I’m 54 years old and I love it. It comes in a small bottle, almost like nail polish but the applicator is very thin and that is the key. It’s also not as expensive as other brands. I got the brown. Don’t get black because it’s too harsh looking unless you have dark features.

You can apply it on the upper and lower lid or just one or the other. It does take some practice and I found that the lower lid is easier to apply, so you may want to start with it. You always start at the inside corner of the eye and work your way out. Once you have mastered the lower lid, then go on to the uppert. Just try different looks.

start with brown. it’s not as shocking as black is. it’s much softer. and maybe just start with the top lash, and after a few weeks or watever then line the top and lower lashes.

from there you can move on to black. just make it gradual.

don’t put it on your lid, it will make you look like a hooker! just outside(up and down) and not 2 many, I do this to make my eyes big. and don’t mind them, they’ll get used to it just like me. do it and be confident!
