How do I figure out what career I want?

Im really confused about what I want to do when im older. How can I find out?

yopu have to find a job that you are good at, pays good and that you can have fun with. what are your hobbies? that might contain an answer to what you want to be. if you like to draw… go to a collage that helps you understand drawingif you like to sell things go to a bussness collage. you can look a lot of these things up on the internet. your welcome!

Sit down and think what would I love doing for the portion of the rest of my life, and also, make sure it is something that you LOVE to do, and remember you can always change majors, look into good paying majors, and even if the pay is’nt right, and the job is what you want, don’t worry about it, just do it because you like it.. :]

Some ideas: Look around and observe people that appear to really enjoy their job and ask them why and would they recommend it. Sit down and write out your interests/the things you love. Look through the phone book at the many occupations listed in the yellow pages - again make a list of those that interest you - some of these might have an internship where you can really get a first-hand look. Ask those you respect and love, what jobs they would recommend.
