I am so confused ,I really want to work with animal’s as a future career but I don’t wan’t to be a vet because I don’t want to have to put down a animal or deal with blood.,I don’t want to be a marine Biologist because I don’t like shark’s. What should I persue in My Animal Lover’s career

You’re looking at things a bit too narrowly. Sea life is staggeringly varied, so you could work your entire life as a marine biologist and never even see a shark. There are marine biologists who work in tide pools, in lakes, in rivers, on fishing vessels, in aquariums, for environmental groups, as consultants or for environmental nonprofits. The fields of study are practically endless.

Likewise, you can work with animals and never (or at least rarely) have to deal with death or blood. Zoos, game reserves, animal sanctuaries, animal shelters and so on all need trained, educated specialists.

What I would recommend is find someplace to volunteer with animals to find out if your love for animals actually translates to wanting to work with animals. You might find out that loving your pets doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a career you want to pursue.

How about a breeder, or working in an animal sanctuary?
