How do I deal with harrasment?

Hi,

I’ve told you about my bullying problem in the past question, and now I have another. I’ve followed your advice on telling a teacher but now the bully knows that its me… Hes been going around the whole grade telling everyone to not be friends with me. Hes been saying things like “Dont talk to him he might tell the teacher on you”. I am really feeling depressed because this is starting to affect my academics. I also feel like I dont deserve this because I’ve done nothing wrong. This is at the lunch table where everyone is watching me. I feel so humiliated…

Please guys if theres any advice you can give me it would be greatly appreciated.

This has to be the lowest anyone can go with bullying. Here’s a word of advice, if people actually listen to him, they’re not worth having as friends. Imagine people taking hearsay literally. How understanding can they be? They’re taking a lot of preconceived notions literally, if I may say so. Stick the close friends you have, if not, stick close to your family. You could use a lot of support, you just need people that can give it to you. Your family is a good place to start.

If it doesn’t work well with your family, friends, or anyone else. Talk to a guidance counselor, they can truly help you. Thats basically their job, to help you when you need it. Don’t be shy about talking to them, they’ll listen to everything you have to say.

As my mother would tell me ‘’it’s better to be alone than with bad company.’’

I think your problem is that he can see that hes stronger then you and that he can do watever and no matter what it will always hurt you. you have to show him your stronger and ALWAYS have a smile on your face . bullies arent anything. they bully because thye have nothing better to do and most likely have problems at home and need to take it out on someone they know is weaker. .!

I have a person just like this at my she told everyone that I’m a liar and not to any friends with me. My acctual friends came up to me and said you didn’t accuatlly say that did you. I said of course not. They were like I knew you didn’t but I just wanted to make sure. If they accutally believed him ten they don’t deserve to be your friend true friends know when the rumor isn’t true. So just ignore them and only talk to your TRUE friends.

I am so sorry that this has happened to you! I was bullied also so I know how much it brings a person down. Phase 1: Ignore him. If that doesn’t work try Phase 2: Talk to him and tell him calmly that you don’t appreciate him doing this to you. Phase 3: Try to be sympathetic and think of what could be going on in his life that causes him to do this to you. Phase 4: He has absolutely no power over you, if all these phases don’t work, remember that he relys on your depression, your suffering. DO NOT GIVE HIM THE SATISFACTION and start at phase 1 again.
