So my friends and I were talking about if a girl was pregnant with twins. Is it possible that they could be from 2 different dads??? Or would they just be from one dad? Hmmm...
Twins happen when sperm touches two eggs at the same time so it cant happen? Twins happen when two sperm reaching the egg at the same time? Hmmm people have some strange ideas about this...
fraternal or dizygotic twins can have two fathers as there are two eggs which for some reason are ovulated at around the same time. It is more likely to occur in older mothers because there is more chance of strange things happening with hormones and ovulation etc.
monozygotic= one egg, so one father.
Twins are not made by 2 sperm reaching the egg at the same time...
Fraternal twins are when two eggs are released and are both fertilized (by different sperm). Identical twins occur when the fertilized egg divides into two to form two separate zygotes.
They would be fraternal twins. The woman would have to release two eggs at the same time. And then different sperm would have to hit the eggs. Odds of that? Not very high. But a technical possibility.
Fraternal twins can have two different fathers...that's two different eggs.
Identical twins, however, must have the same father, as that is when one egg splits.
No.
When twisn happen is when spearm touches two eggs at the same time, So it can't happen lol
ty has it 100% right. It is possible, but highly unlikely.
