There is just one way to pray to jesus. Pray from your heart. God and prayers to him don’t need rituals or a certian physical position to be worth him reading. Since he loves us all, he listens to anything and everything we say to him. Maybe try this.

O lord I know you can see me now. There might be bad things I done to my Boyfriend or things I’ve said but Lord forgiveme. Keep him safe and may he find you within this world. Help him father, and remind him that I love him and always will, just as you have loved me. If not physically, may I be in his heart and my I be comforted by fact that we had time together to share good with one another. Lord, if it would be in you’re sovriegn will, bring him back. If not father than thy will be done and bless, him father, with peace in his life. In jesuss-name I pray, Amen.

Other than that, talk with your friends and your pastor. It always good to talk about it. I probably am not old enough to know wether this prayer will be fufilled or not. I certianly don’t think it’s vain like”praying spagetti will rain” but like other stuff, prayer is also patience. Patience with your boyfriend. Patience with yourself and patience with God. Don’t lose hope, friend!!! God will always reward the patient, if not now then in heaven.

TO: ty I was actually rooting for the Colts, but the Saints have been doing very well (in beating the Vikings too :(). I guess they’ve been having an good season so far, and even won the Superbowl. I’m sure both teams have been praying hard, but I think you twisted my words around. Victory is for the one who reaches it first, with passion, determination, practice ect. God is the driving force that keeps us going to reach it, but as much as that (actually reaching the victory with passion, determination, practice ect.) depends on us. The fact is I could say this a million different ways, not to play on words, but because thats just the way it is to me. It is what I believe. Believe what you want, because Hallelujah we have the freedom to agree to disagree. XD

Answer #3

He doesn’t, we decide. With full determination, passion, and awareness from each member of the team, they’ll suceed. We’ve got to do everything we can do, and then God steps in.

semantics. either God does or does not decide (by stepping in, God is in essence deciding). So. Which team is going to win the superbowl? I’m sure both teams have been praying equally hard.

Answer #4

I was using the busy thing as an expression. But prayer doesn’t always work. Don’t base everything in it I disagree, prayer doesn’t work if it is outside the will of God and I believe it is His will for us to do all we can and then trust Him to do what we cant.

Really? Since a lot of people on most teams pray, how does God go about picking which team wins. He doesn’t, we decide. With full determination, passion, and awareness from each member of the team, they’ll suceed. We’ve got to do everything we can do, and then God steps in. You do have to remember that there are bigger forces at work here But not bigger than God; He can make a way out of no way. I’m not saying that the parents dont have any conrol- they do, but their plans are not always God’s plans and though we roll the dice, He determines how they fall.

I agree with Templatepro and his suggestion of taking matters into your own hands.

because if we can, God wants us too take matters into our own hands, hell, we are individual beings arent we?

People tend to forget one thing. Yes I know you believe in God, but dont forget, God believes in you too..

Answer #6

Wow, some people are really blind sided by their beliefs… But to the OP, and this is MY opinion, prayer may work for you. But it’s unlikely to work. If you put your own efforts into it then it is more likely to work out. Saved, you can quote this as much as you like but I’m not putting another post here. Teamo, I hope everything works out. Try to remember, however, that prayer doesn’t always get us what we need Period. Ty is correct though. There are bigger forces at work.

Answer #7

Well personally I think that the easiest way to pray is just to talk to God like you would talk to a friend. You could try asking him to help you to see the good in the situation and to be strong. Good luck and God bless!

Answer #8

you can be like “god I really miss my boyfriend and can one day he come back and visit or just stay here cause I miss seeing him and really wants him to come back” something like that maybe it will work try it and see : ) and god loves everyone ♥ so he probably will help you out♥

Answer #9

you can ask your god to bring him back will it work? no, because things dont just majcally happen when you pray or wish for them but you can try all you like otherwise just tell him you miss him and ask him to come back

Answer #10

‘We can ask God for anything and if we are rooted in Him, He’ll do it for us. ‘

Really? Since a lot of people on both sides of most teams pray, how does God go about picking which team wins?

You can always pray. No harm in that. Since you’re 14, not much else you can do about this situation. You do have to remember that there are bigger forces at work here. Like his parent’s jobs, the thing that keeps him in clothes, shelter and food.

Answer #11

I was using the busy thing as an expression. But prayer doesn’t always work. Don’t base everything in it. If Teamo here prayed and prayed and prayed but her boyfriend stayed in Spain forever then it was a wasted effort. However, if she takes things into her own hands and works toward bringing her boy friend back then there is a greater chance that it will happen.

Answer #12

I’m pretty sure he’s really busy God dwells outside of time, and so He’s never to busy for His children.

To Teamo: We can ask God for anything and if we are rooted in Him, He’ll do it for us. Dont ever feel ashamed or even slightly hesistent to come to Him; He loves you. Pray about it and speak from the heart, but trust God’s will, and if for now your boyfriend is meant to be in Spain then so be it. This is in God’s hands, and you can trust Him.

Answer #13

Asking if a prayer will come true is like asking if it will rain spaghetti. You have to take things into your own hands and not wait around for God to do it for you. I’m pretty sure he’s really busy. Take the problem and work it out yourself, because I doubt he’ll do it for you.
