How can I help my foot?

Okay, so, on the 28th Dec [09], possibly a few days after that I was sat cross legged and my leg ‘went dead’, so I got up to walk it off, when I stood on my foot oddly, and I could hardly walk on it afterwards. I went to the doctor and he said I’d ripped the tendons in my foot, and he said that my foot’d’ve been better by the time I went back to 6th form… I’ve been back for two week now, so, it’s been atleast 3 week since I had the accident? but it still really hurts if I sit on it, or knock it.

Is there anything I could do to atleast help the pain and awkwardness of it?

Soaking your foot in hot water could work, do that one day when your sat watching telly. then if that doesnt work go back to the doctor.
