How can I get my boyfriend to trust me again?
I lied about my past. we’ve been together for 20 months now. he wants to be with me but cant trust me. he also lied about his past also. but always points the finger at me. and always thinks im going to lie. I didnt want to bring up my past for a reason and I am a different person then I was two years ago. things are always up and down due to insecurities.
theres one fundamental thing that needs to be applied in any relationship and that is honesty. A relationship cannot be successful if it is soley built on lies. If he cares for you truly he should accept your past and understand you are anew hiding something is never good because you will feel like you cant trust each other and that breaks apart relationships. You Shouldnt be afraid to tell him just be cautious when doing so. Keeping secrets is not a good thing and can affect a relationship in more ways that one. If you have accepted his he should accept yours to the equal token “the past is past , the future is now” he sould understand your past and accept it just like you did for his. you should be happy in your relationship if he cant accept something that has happend in your life then maybe he shouldnt be yours he should care for you as a whole and accept everything if not then hes not right for you.
well sweetie you need to ask him, why cant he except your past if you except his.You have to be bold and face him,tell him that if he gonna act like that you cant be with him.You really need to think about whats gonna make you happy.
