How do I get my boyfriend to trust me?
Ok..so I was just talking to my boyfriend and we were talking about spiderman and how hes lame and watever.(I was defending spiderman) anyways..after he said ,that it did happen, and that that the test worked…(something like that)..but I told asked him about the test thing and he ddnt wanna tell me so we were playfully arguing about it and I told him ‘well do you not trust me and thats why you dont wanna tell me’..and his response to that was that he doesnt trust anyone so I told him straight out..you can trust me!..and he told me that he doesnt and he cant..so I told him that yes he can ,and he also doesnt believe me that I trust him, so I told him ‘why?’ and he just said because of other stuff, so he doesnt want to tell me that other stuff and he just told me good night and hes gonna go to bed now..I have no idea how to go about this..I feel very horrible.I havent done anything for him not to trust me so I don’t know! {:( I want him to trust me!
trust is something that is built through time. just give it some time. he will eventually learn too trust you. maybe he doesnt wanna trust anyone because he has been let down by so many others in the past. this is likely what it is. so you do not need to take it personaly. you should understand that he is a man. and men are looking for strong relationships and things like that, where they know they will not be let down. as I said before, just give it time. he will probably learn to put it into perspective that he can trust you. just be patient.
