How can I get my Mom to let me do community service?
hey ok the prob is I am in high school and I need to do 60 hours of community service but my mom dosent want my to volentear for anything she thinks I am to young but I only have 9 months to complet it if I dont then I dont get to graduate ps I am handi capped bye
Get with a trusted teacher, school guidance counselor, or your principal to help you resolve this…I wish you the best !!
Tell your mom that it will help you get into a college, they look at how much you have helped out in the community and it sometimes makes the difference when there are two people that qualify with the same grades.
If your mom doesn’t know it’s a graduation requirement then you should tell her.
Maybe if the principal or someone else tells her she’ll be more willing to let you do it.
If none of that works tell her it’s what you want to do and she should support you in your decision to take on volunteer community service.
